I had seton placement surgery with Dr. Kardy, and while the procedure seemed successful, the post-surgery care was lacking. I experienced debilitating pain for two weeks, relying on salt baths for relief, as ibuprofen wasn’t effective. After having a surgery and being discharged, calling back and voicing concerns of bleeding he was dismissive and I wound up having to have a blood transfusion and him having to redo surgery. The staff at his office has not filled out needed paperwork for returning back to work and said they have up to two weeks to do so, when it was finally returned to me it was incomplete, no Dr signature and return date was several months out as if the paperwork was rushed, it was sloppy, unclear and when I called the office the secretary ... read more
I went in with hemorrhoids and was expecting to have to reschedule to take care of them surgically at the drs office or at the hospital. I expressed my feelings to Dr Kardys about how irritating and uncomfortable the hemorrhoids were and how i wished we could remove them and to my surprise Dr Kardys said sure we can do that and then he explained to me what to expect and his staff took great care of me. The receptionist was awesome very organized and knowledgeable and helpful as well.

Dr Kardys was everything I expected he would be and so I was perfectly satisfied with his work.
Friendly and professional. Allowed me time for my questions and concerns as well as making me feel safe having this done during a pandemic.
Had 5 gastrointestinal doctors it me on every medication saying it was all in my head . Want me to go on antidepressant & anxiety meds. Dr Kardys listens did 3 test suggested a total colectomy. I have issues with some foods having barrets esophageal, and a laundry list of others. He gave me my life back. Not perfect, but it is so much better. I dont mind waiting 30-60 minutes for a dr, when they listen to you and you are the priority, not railroading you for a schedule.
