Dr. Fine saved my life by changing my medications around with a snap of her fingers. She listened to me and that was the first step. My former doctor for some reason was not able to do what Dr. Fine was able to do in a 20 minute appointment. I am forever greatful to her for helping me to get off insulin and lower my blood sugars. She really knows what shes doing!
As I was running low and planning to leave town over the weekend, I called in to renew my thyroid prescription. Their office informed me that I owed about $200 and that if I didn't pay at least $100, they would not renew my medication. In light of the amount they billed my insurance company and nothing showing up on my live well app, which they are supposed to be a part of, denying a medication that is crucial to functioning, was simply insulting from their initial reaction. Kara fine has very poor bedside manner. I found her completely disinterested in dealing with quality of life for the patient with regards to continued symptoms during treatment for hashimotos disease.
They are not accommodating, it's always a struggle to get an appointment that works with my schedule. She does not follow up on test results and always claim she didn't get the results. Also, no follow up on surgical procedures requiring permanent medication needed. Of course she will just claim that she didn't get the pathology report. I've called and left 2x voicemails this week and still have not gotten a returned call. I'm going to a new endocrinologist at this point.
I found Dr. Fine to be both attentive and brilliant. Her staff has been very helpful and accommodating as well. Five stars from me!
