Great hotel. The upgrades to the place have made it an awesome vibe and great place. Best place to stay in Mildura by far. All the old reviews are out of date since the upgrades and it is now five star all the way in the reviews. If you’re in the area, stay here.
We stayed here in July 2025. The whole motel make over is quite good. I have a few suggestions for them. One is - The brick planters that are painted white and are between the parking bays, containing thorny bougainvilleas could be removed. They don’t add anything to the overall style of the motel and are inconvenient when the parking is not spacious. A round planter pot under the outside light of each room would be more effective and stylish - but no bougainvilleas please.
From the moment I walked into the beautiful, welcoming foyer at Kar-Rama, I knew I had made the right choice. I was greeted with the most refreshing welcome drink—just what I needed after a day of travel. As a woman traveling alone, I immediately felt safe and well taken care of.
