I had a breakdown, miraculously managed to pull over directly opposite the shop.... not so miraculous was the fact that it happened in peak hour traffic, in the pouring rain and about 5 mins before they were meant to close up for the night.... no one hesitated to stay back to help me get the car over and straight into the shop and even gave a ride home... John is a nice person but not a good mechanic. Two months ago, I spent over $1000 to fix an engine oil leak. Initially, he quoted me around $650, but later said two spark plugs needed replacement, costing approximately $400 more. I agreed to pay if the oil leak was fixed, and he assured me it would be. However, after picking up my car from his workshop, I noticed the oil leak wasn't fixed. I called his wife, who asked me to bring the car back the next day.
