Been here a few times now and KAR Auto always do a great job with fair prices!!
I had a breakdown, miraculously managed to pull over directly opposite the shop.... not so miraculous was the fact that it happened in peak hour traffic, in the pouring rain and about 5 mins before they were meant to close up for the night.... no one hesitated to stay back to help me get the car over and straight into the shop and even gave a ride home... I posted a positive review 3yrs ago after they did a minor repair, they're probably OK for basic stuff. No1 noticed car was using lots of water (common sign of head gasket going) had radiator pressure tested radiator drained & new coolant, head gasket blows not long after, I told them that engine warning light had been showing. No.2 Xtrail towed in for head gasket 8wks wait got covid excuse 3 times, then got told guy re-coditioning the head was busy. I paid about $1200 upfront for head re-conditioning but wasn't given receip... read more
