Quoted me $2500 for a full system replacement for a problem that I fixed myself for $50. Lazy predatory quoting and con-men at absolute best. Avoid like the plague
I’ve been going to Kar Air for well over 20 years for my truck and car air conditioner servicing, including complete re-works with new compressors, hoses etc. Andrew has always been professional and always fits me in with little notice.
Professional knowledgeable, friendly helpful staff. have used them for decades on a wide range of vehicles and they always sort things out. 10/10
Poor customer communication, their diagnosis provides no guarantee it will fix the problem (they don’t tell you this until after you’ve paid the bill). Paid in full based on their diagnosis. Worked for a week or so, took it back for them to tell me that the condenser is cracked and it will be another $600. No refund on the initial works. Very disappointing!
