Der Track ist hauptsächlich ein fire managment trail, also eine Forststraße, und nur die kurzen Wege zu den zwei Lookouts sind tatsächlich abwechslungsreiche kleine Trails. Ende April ist die Vegetation ziemlich trocken, und war für uns nicht allzu spannend und abwechslungsreich. Der zweite Lookout (Lairds Lookout) lohnt sich, eine unglaubliche Aussicht über die Weite. Kaputar Plateau walk is a magnificent and varied 8km walking track set deep in the heart of Mount Kaputar National Park.
