The setup is quite lovely, the food is just ok (especially for the price). We’ve come here at least 10 times now, some highlights include: the slightly torched toro nigiri, melt right in your mouth. The miso cod is delicious but the presentation is like something you’ll find in a bento box. Fried chicken with caviar is really tasty. The rest are extremely ok. I had a phenomenal omakase here last night. Attentive service, a serene setting, and spectacular fish, including uni, toro roe, and a killer lump crab spaghetti. The first course (reddish fish over salad with vinegar) was also extremely delicious. Prices are on par with top-tier kaiseki in Japan. I will be back.
Food was OK. Service was great. Nothing to write home about.
Extremely bad experience - waited for too long (2 courses for almost an hour). Plus there were not many diners there. The manager wasn’t very human-centered when dealing with my complaint. Warning: do not come if you can’t handle the wait.
