This company is a scam. My 93 year old mother sent payment for a subscription last summer. The check was cashed. She then received a letter telling her that the subscription is not available. She was told to request a refund or choose another option. She requested a refund. We have spent hours on the phone and via email and they will only tell her now that they can not find her account. I have submitted proof of payment by email twice. They are targeting and stealing from seniors.

I highly recommend you don't get involved with this company. I can't even rate them 1 star. It's been almost four months since I sent money and requested 2 magazines. I have not received one issue yet. I have called them 4 times and get the same run around explanation.

Appears to be a total scam. Ordered a subscription by mail 10/26/22 for crossword puzzles. They made an auto withdrawal on my bank in days. Eleven weeks later nothing. I called & the customer service rep only new 2 sentences. "I have no record of your account, I cannot assist you." Telling her when they cashed my check etc only response everytime is, I have no record of your acct, I cannot assist you. When I asked for a supervisor, she just states "a supervisor is not available". Over & over those 2 sentences & nothing else.... read more

Renewed my subscription to Collector's Crosswords in April 2020. My check cleared the bank on 29 April. I certainly assumed there would be no interruption in my subscription, however, I have not received an issue on the renewal yet. (Last one was rec'd in Mar or early Apr 2020) Having contacted them, they said they looked at my account and I would receive my next issue in July 2020. What an unacceptable way to do business! Do not subscribe to anything they offer. I've been waiting 3 months from my elderly mothers subscription, and still waiting. A true scam , took my $$ and didn't deliver. Never again.

Worst company ever - RIPOFF ELDERLY - Wrote a check for my elderly Mother to get a crossword puzzle book, check cashed over two months ago...when I called first they told me there was a publishing issue, now they can't find the order, sent proof of cashed checks for refund and never heard back.

This company takes your money, doesn't deliver the goods, then ignore you/give you the runaround when you try to get a refund. A complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau.
