It's great to see the Kapok is still a destination for weddings/receptions. My wife and I had our reception there back in November 1994. Her family is from Sicily and was so impressed with the decor and outside area. They brought it up every time we got together over the years saying it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Very fond memories.
Jasmen was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about her! She handled everything that I needed to be done (which was a LOT). The air was broken in the upstairs bridal suite and she had them make sure it was completely fixed before our wedding. The bridal suite was FREEZING and we loveddd that! She coordinated our day without any hiccups and spent the day putting things together and setting items up for our wedding. She truly was a gem!
