I waited a few months before posting this to be sure I wasn’t speaking out of frustration. I asked detailed questions before choosing an attorney to make sure I’d be paired with someone who understood my situation. Unfortunately, I was assigned to a lawyer who wasn’t familiar with my issue and didn’t even know my job title, which was a key detail I had raised beforehand.
