I thought I might be suffering from mold poisoning and so called the Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine to request a mold toxicity test. They told me that the only way I could get the $399 test is by first paying Kaplan $475 for a new patient exam. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I discovered that you can just go online and order an at-home Mycotoxin Urine Test kit without the need of a physician’s approval. When I informed Kaplan of this, they called me a liar and refused to give me a refund.
