Kanthack House is a very impressive home for adults with developmental disabilities who are inspirational in coping with life. The staff are well trained. Some of the residents at the home attend near by Friendship Village,just south of Ottawa,which is also an impressive place in their programs. Herb Kanthack was a friend of mine and also a friend to the Ottawa community. He had enthusiasm for helping others lead full productive lives. I went to apply for a care giver position on Mon. Dec 1, 2008, the very comfortable living atmosphere for the individuals who live there in the house. The management was very pleasant and very alert of what the individuals needs seemed to be at that time. I am very impressed with a first visit to the Kanthak House.
