I just moved to the area from Mississippi and Roger has been a breath of fresh air. He has the second opinion I should have gotten a long time ago; kind, respectful and attentive.
I've been to a number of psychiatrists over the years and none of them really did much for me. I often felt unheard and dismissed. I've had some that insisted I should take drugs that I told them I had no interest in taking (clonazepam, for example), or stuck me with a diagnoses I knew wasn't right. Finding Dr. Kirkwood was a breath of fresh air. I've never had a pyschiatrist be so attentive and understanding of my perspective. Got the help needed and overall pleased with the outcome. Readily available to assist with whatever is needed.
Nearly died due to failing to do a test to see what was in my system, then giving me a sample me that had an antagonist in it that interacted with what was in my system sending to the ER unable to speak and eventually stopped breathing and had to be intubated and sent to Topeka ICU.
