Can’t say enough about Kansas Med Center Wichita. Last week my husband and I got home from an overseas trip, both with Covid. (took vax 2 weeks before trip). Although we were miserable, weren’t sure we should show up at an emergency room. We convinced ourselves to risk it since we are both 75. The staff at KMC could not have been more helpful, isolating us immediately the nurse did all the obligatory testing and the doctor prescribed every thing he could to get us over the worst of it. We were highly unimpressed. They did a surgery that seemed completely unnecessary without explaining, and were rude and demeaning to the spouse and didn't let her in the room for recovery. The nurses had very little respect for any decency or privacy.
