Our power goes out multiple times a year because the grid is so overloaded it can't handle the usage and Evergy refuses to do anything about it. The houses on the other side of our street almost never lose power, so I know a solution exists. Infrastructure updates to the electricity are needed, and yet in the almost 20 years living in our house, we have seen nothing improved. One of the most unsympathetic/least compassionate companies as far as customer service and the way they do business. It would be nice if they didn’t have a monopoly over the Kansas City area so that I could switch services. I’m going to write my elected officials to complain about this specifically. Nobody should have a monopoly over all the energy in the city.
Customer service is horrible they don't care if you're dying they will shit your power off. No compassion for thier Customers at all.
