Evergy has been quite unhelpful with two serious issues related to my home. I am a disabled senior U.S. military veteran, and these affect my quality of life adversely: 1. They refuse to discuss their taking power from my photovoltaic (PV) solar panels and not fairly crediting my account. This has gone on for months. Over the last 4 months while living in a 2 bedroom apt, my energy bill has been 397.00 per month. The first month when I called, i was told that it's bad appliances, bad windows and A/C unit drawing all that power, so I turned off my A/C and unplugged all appliances unless they were in use. The next month, I got the same bill. I called, and was told the same thing. I told them that I hadn't been using my A/C. Same BS answer. End regulated monopolies for utilities. Allow for competition, allow for utility companies to say to no to powering datacenters in order to focus on consumer needs (or vice-versa).

Horrible horrible customer service there is no communication all they care about is getting there payment. They could care less about their customers if my apartment didn’t have to use them I wouldn’t
