I had heard they were bad but I didn’t expect to this extent. Our meter has been turned off twice now mysteriously which has had us sitting in a dark and hot apartment for hours. The craziest part is them hanging up on me saying they couldn’t hear me while in the middle of trying to have them sort out the problem. I couldn’t recommend a company less.

Website hasn’t worked for me in weeks and it’s some random glitch they can’t seem to figure out. I have no way to view my usage reports and it keeps saying I am not an authorized user. I keep getting the runaround every time I call Evergy, with reps saying they’ll give me a call back and they never do, or they’ve pushed it to supervisors and IT but have zero timeline on when it will get fixed. They said it’s a “known issue for some but not all customers.”
