Dr Kanowitz was able to identify the cause of a chronic cough. Both he and his assistant Rona performed a scope test. The test was done efficiently, and the documented results were detailed and precise. Dr Kanowitz followed up with a phone call, and returned my call to answer questions I had. Both are good listeners and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr Kanowitz and Rona if you need a swallow exam.
My daughter had a sinus infection for two weeks and it developed a foul odor in one nostril. When I called the office the receptionist was smart enough to know this needed to be addressed sooner than later. Needless to say that it was a foreign object that was causing the odor and infection. Dr. Kanowitz immediately scheduled my daughter to have it removed under anesthesia. Thankfully all went amazingly well and were recovering just fine!
Dr Kanowitz in one nasal polyp/septum surgery restored my breathing, smelling, swallowing, sleeping, and all but eliminated my allergy symptoms. One painless surgery, that I was out entirely during, had hardly any recovery time, needed nothing more than an over the counter pain med for 2-3 days after, no scars since it was done through my nostrils, and I was back to work the same week. Rating: We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Kanowitz and the care he provided during our daughter's surgery. From the very first consultation, Dr. Kanowitz was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to answer all our questions, which put us at ease. We felt supported every step of the way. Dr. Kanowitz made sure we understood the process, and the results have been outstanding. Our child is healing well, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Highly recommend.
Great doctor, very well read and addressed my concerns both times I visited. Recently, I needed a medication refilled which is available OTC but much cheaper as a prescribed generic. He sent me a year's supply without needing a consult, saving me money and saving us both time. Wonderful office and staff.
