Outstanding Survival hike with Autumn! We were a group of 4 including an 11 and 14 year old. Autumn has incredible energy and enthusiasm. Wonderful experience.
A day after a canoe capsized killing an elderly father, his son missing in the lake, and the elderly mother in hospital for hypothermia, my wife and children rented a canoe oblivious of the tragedy that unfolded the previous day. A visitor at the lake told us of the tragedy and we quickly disembarked. Shockingly, the rental agent lied to us saying no one died. WOW! What an experience! I was a bit hesitant at first, as I hadn’t been on a bike in years, but the E-bike made it effortless and so much fun for all skill levels. The ride was filled with stunning lookouts around every corner—truly breathtaking views. I’d go again in a heartbeat! Booking with Kananaskis Outfitters was a breeze, and they set us up for a fantastic morning adventure.
We rented e-bikes from here for a family bike ride. My e-bike did not work (basically it became a very heavy mountain bike) and my husband’s bike handles would constantly fall down. It would have been nice to have a functioning e-bike when I ran into 2 bears. I had to get off my bike and walk it up several hills. Clearly they had not taken good care of their bikes.
