This hospitalist consistently failed to demonstrate that she understood my Mom’s diagnoses and treatment plan. Indeed, she told me that my Mom received multiple blood transfusions while hospitalized. However, when I asked her pointed questions, which actually caused her to read the medical record, she admitted that my Mom did not receive any transfusions. Very unsatisfactory service, samples were taken for testing without her knowledge so she says, then her follow ups were very vague, has no clue what is wrong with me and told me to check out against medical advise so that if something did happen to me she would not be liable. Northwestern has some of the best doctors in the area Im surprised they allow doctors like this work here. They had me in a hallway room with no privacy for a whole day until she approved to ge... read more
