Unreal. When you are a new customer using piped in propane for a rental home, they 1) run a HARD credit pull, as if you are purchasing a home mortgage or new car loan (when they can run a soft pull to evaluate your credit rating) and 2) they require a $250 "deposit" to initiate services. Never seen anything like this. Absurd.
I have tried to connect with kamps website for days now. Is it going to be up and running any time soon? Ive made a payment last week and after i paid it just went down?
I needed propane I called Kamps I needed service tank set and I'm in a trailer. I thought no way we already had a 250 gallon on the property for the house. Anyway they kamps said no problem. But then I ran out of money waiting for my ssi to be activated I had zero dollars. So a few days went by and they called me asking why I haven't called back. I explained I ran out of money. Want to charge to inspect tank for leaks it's there tank I rent it from them so why should I have to pay a service charge....plus have ran out of propane few time supposed to be monitored ,tried to get propane on line wouldn't allow me as it said I'm being monitored so can't do it online 😂😂😂. I question why I still use this company almost monthly. They have ran us out of propane several times, and when they do you have to wait for a drive to be in your area, Or they will bring a few gallons at a time to “get you by”. That’s awesome when propane is your heat source, and you have children. I’ve been hung up on, waited days for call backs, they stopped propane cylinder fill ups at their office.
