I like that this store has a better section of trapping equipment compared to fin and gander... those 2 mainly carry only duke brand traps which I think are junk.. but kames carries better quality traps like Victor and the mb brand traps.. also the wider variety of trapping supplies like earth anchors, snares, j hook tool and a great selection of urine and lure most of which you can't find in other sporting good stores here.. you either have to order them from a catalog or wait for a trapper meet... their staff is friendly a... read more
I had a problem regarding some ammo that was thoroughly handled with absolute professionalism all the way into upper management. I will not hesitate to give this store my business at any time.
I have shopped at Kames since I was a little kid. It is funny to see myself now going there with my kids. The staff is extremely helpful and the inventory is fantastic. Kames is always my first stop.
After 20+ years I will not go back to Kames. I haven't been real impressed the last few times I was there with the reloading and shooting accessory selection. But when I heard a guy at the gun counter giving a new shooter terrible, unsportsmanlike, and ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF OHIO advice, I will never set foot in this store again. He should stick to his ego-filled, tacticool, plate-carrier garbage nobody wants to listen too and not give hunting advice.
