Best Indian grocery store for fresh vegetables. Pleasanton’s original neighborhood market.
Great selection of fresh, handpicked vegetables, definitely a standout compared to other local grocery stores, even if a bit on the pricier side. Tried the Handvo from their assortment table, and it was genuinely excellent—flavorful and well-made. However, the Aam Ras was YUCK. Total letdown: thin, watery, and lacking the taste. Overall, this remains one of our go-to stores for groceries, especially fresh produce. That said, we’d recommend caution with some of the perishable pre-packaged items—quality can be hit-or-miss.
