Although their pastries are good, I recently received poor customer service. I bought some pastries and paid by cash. Based on the register and the receipt, I was owed $9.71 in change. The employee at the register only gave me $0.71 in change. I had to ask them about the missing $9. They treated me as if I didn’t know math and raised their voice at me. Oh man, this place was fantastic. I came here after eating Kirin to get something to snack on later at the hotel. The pineapple bun was probably the best one I've ever had. I've had ones from San Francisco, San Gabriel Valley, New York and dozens of different chinatowns. The egg tart was also fantastic. Price was very reasonable as well.

Not sure when I started to buy from this place but it is normally the place to pack to go bread whenever we wanted to do long drive. 7.30 am is the best time to buy those warm bread. Proximity to train station makes this joint quite happening in the morning. Variety also quite a lot (they also sell Portuguese egg tart, savoury roll and some biscuits).
