Stopped in after Drag Bingo @ Elden St. other than the service not being that great the food was good and the atmosphere wonderful.
We were trying to find a fun place on one of the lakes in Reston but the first one we went to had reservations with a long wait so it went to another part of Reston and found this fun little sports bar named Calypso. The food was great the waitress was excellent she was the best. They have tons of outdoor seating overlooking the water along with an indoor dining area and a separate bar as well with multiple TVs. We come here every Father's Day for the nice lakeside atmosphere and usually have an enjoyable time. Today was not what I hoped for. We arrived a few minutes before 11 - knowing we were early and a woman trying to hang a Father's Day banner just barked at us "we're not open yet." I told her that was no problem - we knew we were (about 7) minutes early and were happy to wait. Then she threw down the banner and said, "now we don't have time for this."
