Dr . Lavu treated my husband until his death. He was very uncaring. Even though his condition was life threatening he failed to treat him with any urgency. He was in the hospital for five weeks and never once visited or called to answer any of our questions. I would never recommend him to anyone. There are much better, more skilled and more caring GI doctors in the area.
Worst GI DR ever. Don’t trust him with your family or yourself. Long story short, his misdiagnoses and lack of care caused my mother to remain untreated. She’s needed two emergency surgeries that I believe could have been avoided. All her new doctors agree that these procedures needed to happen long ago. His also very rude and dismissive.
