Dr. Kao was very friendly and to the point for find what was ailing me.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Kao. I have been seeing him for the past few years for treatment of (spinal) back pain. He is very careful with his questions so he clearly understands your pain, what you have done for it in the past and what your lifestyle is. He encourages non-medical methods to help or cure pain such as exercise and proper diet. He treats his patients holistically and will resort to treatment when that is the last, best option. Dr. Kao was helpful, informative, upbeat, and very cordial during my appointment. He provided information for me to use at home concerning my recovery.
Dr Kao was excellent. He listened to my concerns prior to starting his physical exam, he personally reviewed my imaging with me before he looked at/reviewed the radiology report so he could form his own impression of the issue at hand, then allowed me to ask questions about my imaging, was very thorough with his physical exam, allowed me to be involved in the plan of care moving forward and even listened to my concerns regarding diet and nutrition and provided resources and a plan to follow up with my primary physician.
