Dr Kate at Kalmpets has been amazing in helping me better understand & care for my 2yo border collie, who has several significant behavioural & medical challenges. I particularly appreciate that Dr Kate doesn’t forget about us between sessions and often comments on our shared behaviour tracker, which is enabling us to methodically identify patterns & triggers and gain clarity on what’s working. KALMPETS, and especially Dr. Kate Lindsay, have been outstanding. My dog’s anxiety was so severe he would shake violently, and Dr. Kate immediately identified that pain could be a contributing factor. After thorough evaluation and a CT scan, we discovered he has hip dysplasia. Delighted I found KalmPets. Dr Amy diagnosed a problem that had gone unnoticed by the vets in my dog because she needed to be observed walking off leash to pick it. She is a much happier dog now as she is not in pain.
Taking on a Rescue dog is not easy, and Dr Kate provided so much help and support. She is very caring, realistic with her solutions and non-judgemental. My girl Meeka has come such a long way from when we first saw Dr Kate and she has definitely helped Meeka to live her "best life". I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Kate and Kalmpets to anyone in a similar situation as I was.
