The staff at kalkaska animal hospital in my opinion is the absolute best in the Tri-County area they are absolutely amazing with my animals
I’ve given this clinic multiple chances, but my experiences have been consistently disappointing. The final straw was when I was rescuing a feral cat who sadly went missing. I called and spoke to a live person to cancel the appointment, later replied “cancel” to their text confirmation, and even got a reply back. My previous vet didnt seem to know how to handle doggie diabetes so I was looking for a place to help manage my dogs condition better. When I made the first appointment my dog was skin and bones with no sign of gaining weight and her sugars went all over the spectrum. We've been with Kalkaska Animal Hospital for maybe six months and the vet and vet techs have already figured out how to help her gain weight, manage her sugar, and help me understand why it fluctuated so much.
