I recently purchased the Strato V player. I recently did a Theatre upgrade and I just could not complete it without a Kaleidescape player. It is a definite game changer for me both in Video and Audio. The convenience of having that at a touch of a button, the thousands and thousands of movies I can purchase at the movie store, and the lower price to purchase them compared to buying the disc online at a store. I worked almost 10 years 10 years ago in this company that makes extraordinary movie players, servers, and viewing software. High end robust products that last many years. Dealers of various provenance love them. Me too!

Brilliant product, best movie library experience of any of the movie server products, and best audio and video quality for sure. Not cheap, but if you can afford it, go for it!
Very expensive product, when working it's great, have had multiple issues with system, first time Kaleidescape repaired and they returned, but initially they said they wouldn't repair. It took fighting with them for the company to do the right thing, repair and return. Product went down again, this all within a few years. Kaleidescape would NOT repair, offered to sell me another component for over $10k... If you have money to burn, go for it and good luck.... WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!
