Currently sitting in the er 2 hours now and I'm here for stomach pain and rectal bleeding. My Dr told me to come so they felt it was an emergency. Clearly BGH doesn't seem to think so as I am still sitting here weak and in pain. So after 4 hours and 30 minutes i left, went to my dr office had a rectal exam and was strongly encouraged to go back to the er. It is absolutely disgusting to watch Kaleida Health destroy a community hospital that has served the Bradford, PA area since 1887. In just a handful of years, what was once a trusted full-service hospital and emergency department for rural families has been systematically gutted and reduced to little more than an outpatient facility which will happen next week when the ER formally closes for good.
