530am, I wanted an Italian breakfast sandwich and a decent coffee (DT Hilton was self-self, 4-star, $14.50). I couldn't get into Kaldi's because I don't work at WUM; two nice ladies let me follow them in and up the stairs. The sandwiches (2, of course) were beyond expectation. The staff was chill, and the security guard didn't question my presence. The macchiato was 5x better than SBucks. TY, Kaldi's!
This place is close to my office so I come here for lunch quite often. However, if I have any other choices, I’ll never come to this place, because what I got doesn’t worth what I paid for. Can you imagine such a small bowl of potatoes and scrambled eggs costs $9.99 and it doesn’t match what they show on the website!
Update: no more vegan pastries. No more discount after 3pm. Food is dry and expensive. I also dislike the awkward tip choices. No more mobilBytes points. Walk down one flight and buy at the bookstore—- 2019 review First, I love that they have at least two clearly marked vegan options (pastries and lunch). Most of the staff is very nice (I've had at least one rude person but I never saw them again).
