We’ve used KBH twice this week - the first time was mid morning to get a paddle boat where there was no wait at all and we were quickly sorted and into the water. The second time was a different day for a powerboat. All were gone by 9am with us just scraping in to get one so definitely get down there early if the weather is good. Other days when there’s been more wind or it’s been lower 20s, we’ve seen plenty powerboats mid morning. Team were friendly and helpful, a great experience
Wander down to the beach and hire yourself a dinghy ( no experience necessary) - take yourself up the river for a cruise…. definitely worth your time
Call in late yesterday and were told come back tomorrow. 9am next day waiting for the business to open up and there appears a post on Facebook they are having a maintenance day shop won’t be open. Very poor communication, frustrating as we had planed our day around this and they don’t take bookings.
Not open! Contrary to what the website says you can’t just show up and rent a boat.
