At 19 weeks pregnant, Dr. Amanda Kalan detected something abnormal on our ultrasound. Throughout the following weeks, the abnormality disappeared but she never gave up looking for answers. After a MRI, our unborn daughter was diagnosed with a esophageal duplication cyst. We are forever grateful to her - as our little one's surgeon, Dr. Cass said it was an incredible find. Our daughter's surgery at 6 months old was a success, and at 3 years old all that remains are 4 tiny scars!
