I have loved this place since I was a kid (now in my 40s). The staff members are kind and helpful. The setting is beautiful. We enjoy the interpretive center, trails, homestead, camps, Nature's Playground, special events and mostly, the people. They are true advocates of sustainability and loving our Earth. My husband and I send our children to the KNC preschool and are continually impressed by what they learn and experience of the world, outdoors, and being good people. This is where I had my beautiful perfect wedding. Also spent the months before that getting into shape my hiking all around it.
Loved growing up here and sharing this wonderful place with family and friends.
The KNC has wonderful hiking trails with amazing views of the area. The Center also has a good collection of sculpture.
Great place for walks and trail runs
My kiddos love it there! Our favorite thing to do this summer was the Natural Playground! They loved playing in the water, and using nature to shift the creek!
