Very disappointed with our experience. We were let go without any referral or transition plan after asking questions about the link between lactose intolerance and ADHD. Felt dismissed and gaslit when raising concerns. Lacked empathy, poor communication, and no bedside manner. Not the kind of care a child or family deserves.
Dr. Kalaher has been an absolute blessing to our family. Two of our children are her patients. She holds space for children to communicate directly about their experiences, and also seeks our perspective as parents. Do not interrupt when she is talking to your child. Useless doctor. Doesn't listen to you and just says "ok we'll just agree to disagree" in the most condescending way. Despite having a diagnosis for ADHD and a recommendation from a psychiatrist for a stimulant, she refuses to prescribe one. Don't go here unless you want to be told "eat breakfast, drink water, exercise and take omega 3". We initially were referred here because we wanted to avoid prescriptions as the first option. Had an appointment for my son with her, she asked him 2 questions and he didn't answer them. Told us his portion was done, and he could go play. Asked us about our history as parents, and then told us he had some attachment issues and basically ended it with that. No follow ups. No nothing. I emailed asking for a follow up and was told no.
