I usually see Dr Slaton and generally have a decent experience. However, I had to see Dr Sick today and I will say every part of the visit was terrible! From check in, wait time in the lobby, the nurse who seemed annoyed to have to do her job, the 40 minute wait in the room with no explanation nor apology as to why I had to wait so long, her bedside manor, her destain to want to perform a necessary surgery I need, the refusal and annoyance of explaining to me what the procedure would consist of, she was rude to both my mothe... read more
I had a very high risk and complicated pregnancy: hemorrhaged, emergency cerclage at 20 weeks, gestational diabetes, and ended up delivering at 36 weeks due to pre - eclampsia. Dr. Slaton and her team saved my son’s life and kept me healthy and safe up to delivery. Labor and delivery, and the incredible NICU team at Conway Regional blew me away! Terrible experience over the past year. Just felt overlooked and dismissed when I truly needed more care and treatment than given. Thankful for the specialists I have been referred to through Meghan Mallett but I would not recommend Slayton or others in Conway Regional especially there Afterhours clinic and ER for your care. Baptist has been a much better place to use for my health care needs in my honest opinion.
