I took my car for a seasonal tire change and when I went to retorque, noticed one of the studs had sheared. I called Kal Tire and they had me bring it back in and they replaced it at no charge, saying it must have broken on the drive home and that these things sometimes happen. I did the next change myself and when I pulled the winter lug nuts out of the bag, the broken stud was still in one of them!
