We had a great experience purchasing tires from Steve at Kal Tire on 42nd. He was able to get our brand-new vehicle booked in quickly and gave us a great deal on 22” All-Weather tires. The tires have been a fantastic recommendation, with little to no road noise and excellent handling on ice. The installation was completed in under 90 minutes, which was perfect, we were able to go for breakfast and come back to everything done. I booked the appointment at 11:30am for winter tire change. I was there at 11:15am. I even agreed to have wheel realignment done expecting good services from KalTire. Guess when I got my vehicle back? Over 2.15pm!!! I waited in the store for almost two hours, then left for lunch, came back, the vehicle was still not done. Is it my fault? ABSOLUTELY for taking my vehicle to your store. The funny thing is when asked, the manager told me my vehicle would be done by 1pm. I was too naive to trust you guys. Never again!
Do not recommend this location. I came here last year to get winter tires for my car. I had decided to get Michellin but manager tried to upsell to Nokian Tires. Michellin tires were just a bit off their recommended size, Kal Tire ordered them but when it was time to install they say they couldn't do it because of "safety". Ended up getting Nokian tires. I was missing 1 lugnut for one of my wheels prior to Kal Tire changing tires (my fault), I drove for a day (less than 100km) and one of the lugnuts fell off, so now only 2 o... read more
