The team at Kal Tire (especially Sarthak) saved the day! I got an unexpected flat and had my car towed to Kal Tire - even without calling ahead of time, they quickly took my car in and were able to service it the same day. I really appreciated the friendly and reassuring customer service from Sarthak - you've got a new customer for life!
I got a head start on Winter today, yes it's only October, realizing that my 5+ year Nordian Tires wouldn't make it into 2026. I had my heart set on the Firestone Weather Grip tires but was persuaded to go with Nokian WRG5 after realizing the CAA discount, instant rebate and slightly lower price meant I was basically spending the same amount. I took my car in for what was supposed to be a free brake inspection. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. First, they told me my rear brakes, control arm, and ball joint all needed replacing. Later, they called to say they had ordered the wrong part and suddenly the control arm didn’t need replacing after all — only the ball joint. So why try to sell me on a part I didn’t need in the first place?
