I have been going to Kal tire for years now. The reason I go there is bc there’s a difference between the shop compared to any other and that’s the service and quality. Sometimes going to a shop can make me feel like they are trying to take me for my money especially as a female. Scott front desk gave me his honest opinions that were best for me. Following taking my truck elsewhere to fix the horrible wobble after kal tire did an alignment I was told that my inner and outer tie rod ends needed replacing. Impossible to do an alignment with these structural defects I was told. I got the repair done and another alignment and voila, no wobble. Now I’m waiting for a refund from Kal Tire. After 50 years of going to this store I’ll never trust them again.

Day 1: Went in for an alignment, work was not able to be completed due to seized tie rod jam nut. Was quoted around 1k for "economy" parts (I don't want economoy parts on my truck). Called local auto parts supplier and found that I was quoted about 10% more (see discussion with manager below). After inspecting work that was performed I found the tie rod boot was melted off by the tech, no mention of this when picking up my truck (40$ cost).
