September 2025: I chose KAJ Painting from five submitted bids. I was referred to them by my local Sherwin-Williams dealer. The project quotation met all of the requirements of my written Request For Proposal. Mr. Vasquez' positive energy and polite, professional manner factored into my decision to go with KAJ; I was not disappointed. The results on my modest one-story residence are excellent. Elmer and his crew were amazing from the day we met him for an estimate all the way through the job! He showed up early for the estimate, delivered the estimate exactly when he said he would, and started exactly on time when we discussed. Not only is Elmer a great guy, he’s super professional, keeps a clean job site, and does exactly what he says he will. I stayed home to meet with the owner of the company to get an estimate. He came and told me he would send me an estimate that evening. I called 3 days later for my estimate and was told he would send it that evening. It has been 6 days and no estimate. I will have to get more estimates now from more reliable companies because he does not have the curtesy to let me know he is not interested in the job. What a waist of my time.
