There was a blizzard that came through. The owner was outside shoveling & clearing the pathway for his customers. We were surprised they were even open. We were here restoring the power and wanted a nice meal. We had a incredible experience. The coffee was phenomenal. Along with the breakfast. There is so much history here behind everything. We were welcomed like family! Thierry greeted us and showed the amazing family history in the vault. A tour of the menu was very helpful and we sampled across the entrees. Ratatouille was delightful, as was everything. The signature Kaiserscharrn (we split the sweetie) was a brilliant end tour our meal. We will be back and look forward to enjoying more parts of the menu.
I’ve driven past Kaisy’s Delights hundreds of times and only stopped in today because I needed to park nearby for a Zoom meeting. I am so glad I finally did—and I’ll absolutely be back. After telling the owner, Thierry, that it was my first visit, he asked, “Do you have a few moments?” When I said yes, he surprised me by taking me into a charming little museum that shares the history of the restaurant, his personal background, and the origins of some of the recipes.
