We came to Kaisy’s Delights as a party of 8. We immediately got seated and settled in. We realized how fancy this restaurant was and was super excited. They gave us menus and asked what we wanted to drink. They had a big selection of drinks to choose from. While we had the very short time waiting for the drinks, we toured the restaurant. Michelin take note: Kaisy’s is a true gem, and the owner Thierry is pure class. I was on a trip back north with my mother in law when we asked ChatGPT for “the best lunch spot on the way back from Virginia Beach to New Jersey”, and it gave us Kaisy’s. We had high expectations going in, but those expectations were absolutely blown away by every aspect of our visit. Just dined for the first time and it certainly won't be the last. Food & service both are exceptional. Holsteinerschnitzel was tender, pierogi & kielbasa are as authentic as it gets, and the Kaiserschmarrn is amazing. The owner takes pride in the atmosphere and in the menu, and it shows.
Kaisy Delight in Millsboro is truly a hidden gem! I ordered the Kaisy Decadent with strawberry compote, and it was absolutely delicious. The Kaisy was light, fluffy, and incredibly moist with crispy caramelized edges, rich chocolate sauce, a dusting of powdered sugar, fresh whipped cream, and warm strawberry compote.
