One of the worse ER Hospitals Ever…. The staff and their security is horrible. They tried to say I couldn’t use the restroom and once I asked why the security got all crazy saying I have to listen to them and said she doesn’t like me and I don’t have to like her either. This is my favorite ER, if there is such a thing. I’ve been here twice and it was efficient both times with nice staff. The first time it was pretty empty and they ran me through multiple tests and exams in a very short amount of time. Whole thing took 1.5 hrs, I was shocked it was so fast. This second time the waiting room was packed (we came in after 5pm) and a bit of a longer wait (closer to 1.5 hrs to be seen), but again once inside it was pretty streamlined. Total time 3 hrs.
Kaiser is amazingly well organized. Great health care.
I went in for an MRI, after the scan, an orderly rolled me into a hall way and left me there. 1 hr later, I get a call from the nurse asking if I had left the hospital... I went in around 5pm, I finally got to leave around 2am. That was really bad!!!
I visited the Kaiser Emergency Room in Santa Clara and wanted to share my experience so others know what to expect. I arrived at 1:00 PM and was initially screened around 3:00 PM. Blood work was done, and I then waited about two hours for test results. After that, I was called for a CT scan, and those results came back fairly quickly (about 30 minutes).
