Still dealing with billing issues months later. All while being pregnant, being told I’m going to need to cover the cost of my appts. Why would I have gone to this clinic if I didn’t have Kaiser insurance ? It’s because I was being told my insurance was covering all the appts. And then a month later I was told due to a delay and basically Kaiser not updating/checking my insurance now I’m left to pay out of pocket. Guess what? That’s won’t be happening! So incredibly annoyed. Went back and forth about my coverage for about a month….was told because of “delays” that my appts will now need to be paid out of pocket. Due to kaisers error. I tried to switch carriers a month ago and when I asked I was told I couldn’t do that because “my coverage hasn’t ended” I am just so frustrated and feel like I wasted a lot of time and energy.
Scheduled an eye exam on the Kaiser app for a contact eye exam. The app said 0 copay. I go in and the lady tells me it’s $105 for a contact eye exam. Her reasoning was it was an “unplanned” service. When I literally scheduled a contact eye exam. You’re telling me it’s the same price out of pocket at Costco than with insurance at my provider. Wow
The phone service for appointments is extremely rude
RN Colby and Dr. Matijasevic truly saved us. My daughter sustained a deep toe laceration in the ocean while on vacation. The front desk staff transferred our coverage from CA to HI. Got her in for an urgent appt within minutes and cleaned & stabilized her injury. We are here on vacation and looked up Kaiser & just walked in. Highly recommend! Please praise all of the staff here. Even the pharmacy was 10/10!
