Went here for therapy and got Dr. Baker, she told me to just “let my trauma go.” Telling a traumatized person “You need to let it go” dismisses the reality of their nervous system and body. No one wants to relive traumatic experiences on an ongoing basis. People are triggered by past trauma because they’re traumatized, not because they’re unwilling to let go. I do not recommend a psychologist who speaks this way to her clients or a business who hires a psychologist who practices this way.
Pretty good! The building and environment is nice and relaxing. Therapists are alright, i'm glad they take my insurance.
