Normally bakeries require more advanced notice, but I called Kairo’s with just one week before my husband’s 40th birthday party, and they made us a custom cake; I sent inspo pics and they used those make their own creation within the theme, and it was perfect. It’s so nice to be able to trust professionals who know what they’re doing! We got a 4 layer vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling for 30 people, and everybody loved it. The people here are utterly incompetent. I placed an order with them because I saw cakes on their website I liked. Not only did they mess up the design (the original had hearts, I asked them to swap it with party hats and other party related things at the time of ordering), but they also texted me at 9 am asking what to write (even though I had specified at the time of ordering), but I told them again, and, when I arrived to pick it up, they had written what was on the original cake in Spanish. If I could give zero stars, I would. This experience was beyond disappointing. My wife placed a birthday cake order on Saturday to be picked up Monday. She even sent a confirmation message, and the staff wrote it down. But when I arrived today—on my birthday—the order was nowhere to be found.
