Kaila is a wonderful violin instructor. Learning violin is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and finding an instructor who is caring, talented, and patient isn’t always easy but she is every one of these things. I have been really fortunate to be one of her students. She truly cares about her students. I’ve been taking lessons for 7 months and I can now play a variety of songs with confidence. If you’re looking for an instructor look no longer and give Kaila a try.

I started with Kaila when I was 12 and took lessons from her for 6 years. She rekindled my love for music after getting burnt out with piano. She taught me music from all over the world and allowed me to follow my curiosities while also giving me an excellent foundation in music theory and violin technique. Kaila was an incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgable teacher who I feel so fortunate to have had in my life, I can't recommend her enough!

I've been learning from Kaila for 8 months, and it's been amazing. Having played piano for a decade during my childhood, trying the violin as an adult has been both exciting and challenging. I love her teaching style and method, she picked the songs from the wide range of genres of my interest, that match where I'm at. Kaila has been fantastic with my daughter who is 8. Kaila has been teaching my daughter for over a year now and her teaching method has been great for my daughter. Kaila takes the time to listen to what my daughter is interested in and hones in on her skills. Always gives really productive feedback. She has learned so much in this last year and we are so proud of her all thanks to Kaila. Her kindness, patience, and love of music really shine though in her lessons.

My daughter took violin lessons with Kaila for about two years when she was 6-8. Kaila is a warm, fun, and dedicated teacher who helped my daughter become proficient with the instrument rather quickly. Kaila doesn't focus solely on technique but helps her students understand music as whole by writing songs, teaching notation, and performing.
