Heard good things about this place. Went for the sashimi but was sadly disappointed. Cuts were amateurish and not as fresh as I’m used to. Service was great and the dining area was clean and comfortable. I will not be returning.
I now understand why the ratings for Kaido Japanese Restaurant are low. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Our server, Adina, appeared uncomfortable with my friend’s different nationality, and our order was handled incorrectly, which led to long wait times. The food presentation was disappointing, the sushi rice was scattered around the edge of the plate, and the cooks were coughing, which raised serious concerns about hygiene.
