my go-to ramen spot whenever I am in Arcadia. If am craving ramen this is the place for cozy and consistently GOOD honestly it deserves more hype! Specially the black Kai Ramen their menu isn't crazy huge but there is great options! everything they do feels really solid and thought out. Overall, it was a great meal and friend date with my friend Angela. She loves anime, so this was the perfect spot to catch up and have a great bite to eat. She ordered Ramen and I got a rice bowl. We got two appetizers and two drinks. The service was very fast and efficient, and the ambience was very clean. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants great Japanese food. My family and I went there for lunch on a quiet Monday. We were the only ones there when we entered. The ramen was not cooked well, but that wasn’t my main complaint. There was an extremely unfriendly host who was also our waiter. He was rather rude to us from the moment we walked in—maybe he was having a bad day or something. The first two times, it was delicious. The third time, the broth didn't have that same delicious flavor, also it lacked salt. Basically, broth, lots of noodles, half flavored egg, two thin slices of braised pork, scallions, and some cheese. The first two times made me want more. Third time, maybe not for a while.
Was craving ramen and found this spot. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their takoyaki, handmade gyoza, dipping ramen, and award winning white ramen to try. The takoyaki had a lightly crisp exterior, savory gooey interior, and tender piece of octopus.
