I cannot rave about this place enough and that is coming from someone with Celiac! I’ve never been somewhere that took food allergies so seriously. There’s a GF menu right on the counter as you come in. The cashier let me know that anything with a bun could be made with a GF bun and they have a dedicated grill but anything fried could have the potential for cross contamination. I’ve now had two frustrating experiences at Kahuna’s drive-thru. The first time, my order took over 25 minutes and was still incorrect. Today was even worse—I placed my order, was given my total, and then sat waiting for 20 minutes, only to get to the window and find out my order was never put in at all. The employee at the window was kind and offered me a free Pepsi, which I appreciate, but unfortunately I still had to leave without any lunch because I didn’t have time to wait for it to be made. What a place to be! Very cool atmosphere and delicious food. The Volcano was huge and enough for a family of 4! The pineapple upside down Adult shake was worth a 2 hour drive just for that!!! Well done and we will be back! Perfect date spot.
Yesterday was my first time ever going. My dad told me it was a place my mom liked going to eat before she passed so I just had to try it! The food was fresh and tasted good. The workers were friendly and made sure we was satisfied with everything! Really nice place and now going to take my own family there so they can experience a place their grandmother liked!
Had my order doordashed. The app was very misleading. I was not aware that by hitting the buttons for items was to remove the items from the sandwich. But I got a Philly cheesesteak with no cheese. I did ask for the sauce and the peppers on the side which I did receive. But all in all a very disappointing sandwich, the fried mushrooms are exceptionally good. The tots seem to be edible. Overall...Will NOT return
